Hey there people of today and robots of tomorrow!
It's me, CK!
For this week's Weekly Adventure the challenge was to dress up one of your characters as Santa Claus. I decided to submit an entry for this week as well as a late entry for last week's Weekly Adventure. I also decided to use a background my good bud Fantasynarium made for me. Originally it was going to be used for my animation, but it was too small. But I promised I'd use it and here it is finally being used! For this picture I also decided to include all the monster characters that had been created this year both by myself and by Friends of the Pizza Monster. Why? Because there are quiet a few. And this is both my way and PM's way of saying-
Now about the title: I have a simple philosophy about the figure of Santa Claus. Everyone keeps trying to tell me he isn't real, and I never believe him. Even if Santa Claus isn't a person, he is a state of mind. You see, Santa has a big job. And sometimes he needs help from ordinary people. People with big hearts who feel compassion, love, joy, and a caring devotion to others. People (and monsters) who feel as though Christmas is the greatest time of the year and want to make it special for everyone. So yes Pizza Monster, there is a Santa Claus. Anyone can be Santa Claus.
I decided to also make it in Black and White, as a sort of tribute to Miracle on 34th Street.
