A sketch a day keeps sanity away! Uh, wait, I don't think I said that right. Aw who cares? It's another daily dose of the DALEY DUDLEZ! Today I bring you some Clarktoon fanart. This weekend I started rewatching all the episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's one of my favorite shows and the only animae I've watched and enjoyed. And yes, I am counting this show as an animae. Back on point, I was rewatching the show and decided it'd be fun to draw the Toonies as characters on the show. So first up we have the kids from the Swamp Gang.
These guys were the easiest to cast, especially Bumper. Bumper's a spirit and there probably isn't a dimension out there where he isn't. But just like in our world, no one knows how he died. I'd like to think he was perhaps a lemur bat in a past life. Then there's Xena, the swamp water bender. She got swamp water bending because she is half crocodile and she already lives in a swamp so it just makes sense. I also find it funny that she's two halves of an animal as one creature like most of the wildlife on the show. Finally, we have Malcus. I drew him as a firebender, but now I'm not so sure I made the right call. For one thing he looks awful with orange stripes and second he grew up on a swampy planet. So next time I drew him I might make him an over agressive water bender. But I am keeping the mask. It's the Blue Spirit with a Dangji twist.
