Hey there people of today and robots of tomorrow!
It’s me, CK!
A few days ago my friend AlphaBeta90 showed me a cool little sketch sheet of his with various sketches of some of our characters on it. Thinking it was cool I decided to try my luck with that idea and see how many doodles and sketches I could fit onto one page. According to my math, on this page I got about 22. On this page I limited myself to doing sketches of my own original work. Which meant no Mickey, no Marvel, no Turtles. It had to be my characters or characters inspired by them. I also sketched characters I felt needed more attention or perhaps a redesign.
In this one we see a sick and tired Croc, a little Weed Eater hiding out in a pot, a scared Bumper, SHER-I complaining that she’s not in enough pictures, Koo Koo Bird, and Phil the Purple People Eater. As well as that there’s ERN-E, EMIL-E, Joey, and the Clarksburg power couple of Pizza Monster and Villa, whose design here is inspired of Fantasynarium’s great comic she made. (Check it out here)
One sketch I wanted to try for a long time was SHORT-E once again dressing up as BAT-E, but this time he isn’t alone. In my Pizza Monster Halloween comic we saw Burger dressed up as Superman from the Man of Steel. Since they announced they were gonna make a movie were Batman and Superman duke it out I figured it’d be fun to draw a pic with BAT-E and Supermonster in it. But then I decided to go farther and included the other monsters. Casting was pretty easy: the wild and crazy Bubble Gum had to be the Flash, and Blueberry was the Black Canary to Spinach’s Green Arrow. I would’ve gone with Green Lantern, but I don’t know who his love interest is.
Along with these sketches there was also a challenge AlphaBeta90 and I made for each other. In another one of our daring Steam RP’s, we toyed with the idea of the multiverse falling apart and Monova meeting her various counterparts. We tasked ourselves with drawing a few of the alternate Monova’s. Here are the ones I drew:
Ultranova
In a utopian version of the future, Ultranova is the latest form of piece keeping. But when a super criminal named XT-5O creates an dark duplicate of her (Avona), he frames Ultranova for various crimes. Now Ultranova must find her doppleganger, the mad scientist who created her, and save her city of New Utopia from other various evil doers. This Monova is more agile, stronger, and more advanced then her counterparts. Various weapons and gadgets are programed into her, and her arms can be separated so she can use four arms at once.
Puppet Monova
This world’s Monova is part of an Emmy winning children’s show called KST Tales. While not as intimidating or fierce as the other Monova’s, this one is more comical and caring for others.
Supernova
In this world Queen Monova is a criminal working for a crime family run by Zarthek. While doing one of her bosses dirtier jobs she is set on fire and comes close to death. Seeing she is alone she prays to Aklamos for another chance. She gets that chance when a meteor crashes directly on top of her. From the ashes she transforms into a muscular heroine who can fly, shoot lasers, run at super speeds, has a sonic wail, and has super strength. She uses these powers to fight crime with the help of her sidekicks, including Kordahk; a robot in a van who goes snooping for her in advance due to the fact that he has no superpowers.
Ape Monova
One of the few organic Monova’s in the multiverse, this Monova is the result of government experiments to make super soldiers. Their latest process works on Monova, but they lock her up and schedule her for execution. Luckily she escapes using her new skills of stealth and strength and administers the experimental drug to other non-human primates. Including an orgauntan named Kordahk, a chimp named 102, and various others. She leads an uprising against the humans and soon overtake New York City and becomes their Queen. Like Caeser from another world, she does not seek violence until her people are threatened and she tries to bring some of the better things of humanity to her kind.
